Roger Waters Announces Sanctioned 2027 Pink Floyd Tour Led by Son Harry
Roger Waters has announced a new North American tour celebrating the music of Pink Floyd. Titled Roger Waters Presents Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show, the production is created under Waters’ direction, though he will not be performing on the trek. Instead, the band will be led by his son, pianist and composer Harry Waters.
The tour is slated to span 58 shows, kicking off on February 15, 2027, at the River Center for the Performing Arts in Columbus, Georgia, and wrapping up on September 25 at the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis, Missouri. Tickets are set to go on general sale on October 2.
Finding the Voice and Assembling the Band
Earlier this year in April, Roger Waters took to his X account to search for a frontman capable of handling the demanding vocals of his younger days, stating that Harry’s band needed “the voice I had when I was young.” Following an extensive search that sifted through roughly 3,000 applications, Canadian singer Clifton David Broadbridge—currently based in Nashville—was chosen for the role.
Harry Waters will be joined by a 10-piece touring lineup featuring Graham Broad, Edo Scordo, Antonello Pudva, Eva Avila, Genevieve Little, Dahniel Knight, Ryan Saranich, and Matt Riddle alongside Broadbridge. The production will feature selections stretching across Pink Floyd’s golden era from 1971 to 1979, including material from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall.
A Deep Familial Connection to Pink Floyd
Harry Waters’ history with the band’s catalog runs deep. As a two-year-old child, his voice was featured on Pink Floyd’s track “Goodbye Blue Sky.” He also spent 14 years playing keyboards in his father’s solo band before departing prior to the 2016 Us + Them tour. In the years since, Harry has performed with various tribute and related projects, including Brit Floyd, Echoes, and Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade during their performances of Animals across the United States.
“These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years, and I’m excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again,” Roger Waters said via press release. “Harry has assembled a terrific band, and I can’t wait for fans around the world to see the special show we’ve created together.”
“I fell in love with the music immediately,” added Harry. “It really had an impact on me, irrespective of any bias, because it was Dad’s music. I still love it deeply to this day. Collaborating with Dad on this new production is such an honour, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to bring this music to fans old and new, around the world.”
