Blue Oyster Cult Announce First 2027 Tour Dates for 55th Anniversary
Blue Oyster Cult are keeping their lifelong “on tour forever” ethos alive with the announcement of their first 2027 concert dates. The classic rock veterans took to social media to reveal plans to return to the U.K. next April for a pair of high-profile shows.
Celebrating 55 Years on the Road
The upcoming April 2027 itinerary features a major concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall with Magnum supporting, followed by a stop in Scotland for an appearance at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. These dates arrive on the heels of the band’s sold-out gig at the London Palladium in 2025.
The band is billing the run under the banner “55 Years on Tour – 1972-2027,” marking 55 years on the road. The core group also notes it has been 60 years overall since they first formed, performing under early monikers including Soft White Underbelly.
Tickets for the newly announced U.K. dates go on sale Friday at 10 AM local time, following a presale that begins Wednesday. The group’s current lineup is anchored by original core members Eric Bloom and Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, alongside Richie Castellano, Danny Miranda, and Jules Radino.

Before heading across the Atlantic in 2027, Blue Oyster Cult has a packed schedule of late-2026 tour dates across the United States. Their upcoming run picks up on November 6 in Davenport, Iowa, at Rhythm City Casino, winding through venues in California, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Florida before wrapping up the year on December 20 in St. Charles, Illinois.
