Our Mission

Deadikace is an independent rock music media platform dedicated to the artists, albums, songs, and stories that shaped generations — from the pioneers of rock & roll to the blues, jazz, funk, and folk musicians who influenced the sound of rock. Founded in 2021, our goal is to help readers rediscover legendary artists, uncover the stories behind the music, and understand rock’s history in context.

How Our Content Is Produced

Deadikace uses an AI-assisted publishing process for most news and history articles. Stories are drafted from publicly available source material — news reporting, official statements, artist and label announcements, and reference sources such as Wikipedia and Wikidata for artist biographies — and published through an automated workflow. Our editor spot-checks articles rather than reviewing every single one in full before or after it goes live.

We are telling you this plainly because we think readers deserve to know how a site is put together, not because we think it’s disqualifying. What we commit to regardless of how a draft was produced:

  • Sourcing. When an article is built on someone else’s reporting, we link to that original source directly within the article.
  • No fabricated details. We do not knowingly publish invented quotes, dates, chart positions, or attributions. If we find one — whether introduced by automation or human error — we correct it under our Corrections Policy.
  • No claimed firsthand reporting. Deadikace does not conduct its own interviews. Any interview material quoted in our articles originated with another outlet, and we link to that outlet’s original interview.
  • Human accountability. A named person — our editor — is responsible for the site’s content and standards, and is reachable through our editorial contact page.

Editorial Independence

Deadikace has no advertiser or sponsor relationships that direct our coverage. If that changes and we ever run sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled and kept separate from news and history articles.

Corrections

We correct errors when we find them or when they’re reported to us — including errors introduced by our automated publishing process. See our Corrections Policy for how that works.
