Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts Live Return Setlist

Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts made their live return to the stage on September 22nd at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The performance kicked off a string of co-headlining dates with Willie Nelson leading up to their appearance at Farm Aid.

The Connecticut Setlist and Live Debuts

During the Bridgeport concert, Young and his band debuted two tracks live for the first time: “Casting Me Away From You” and “Earth Girl” from their album Second Song, which was released on September 18th.

The 12-song set mixed the fresh material with career-defining classics. Young also joined Willie Nelson earlier in the evening to perform their 1993 collaboration “Are There Any More Real Cowboys?”.

Road to Farm Aid

The co-headlining run with Willie Nelson serves as crucial rehearsal time for Young, who has had limited stage time this year. Young and his band previously cancelled a planned European tour in February, with the singer-songwriter explaining that he needed to take a break and listen to his body.

Following the Bridgeport show, the pair are scheduled to perform at the TD Pavilion at the Highmark Mann in Philadelphia on September 24th. Those dates lead directly into Farm Aid, which takes place on September 26th at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach.
