Slash Announces New Album ‘Flying Blind’ and Massive 2027 World Tour
Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have officially announced their fifth studio album, Flying Blind, and shared its title track as the first single. Set for release on February 26 via Gibson Records, the new LP serves as the follow-up to their 2022 album 4.
The record was recorded largely live with longtime producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette at Studio Barbarosa in Florida. Describing the project, Slash called it a “really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ‘n’ roll record” that is “very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.”
The Creation of ‘Flying Blind’
Slash explained that the album’s title track came together entirely in the studio during pre-production. A riff came to him unexpectedly, and after bringing it to a night of rehearsal with the band, the track materialized rapidly. Myles Kennedy praised Slash’s songwriting process, noting his ability to craft compelling and timeless chord progressions.
The 12-song track list for Flying Blind features:
- Avarice And Greed
- Good Time Girl
- Thrill Seeker
- One Of Your Kind
- Flying Blind
- Looking For A Miracle
- Sweet Kill
- Here In Babylon
- Living The Dream
- (Don’t) Thread The Needle
- Rev My Heart
- Stem the Flow
