Bruce Dickinson Announces 2027 Solo PsychoGod Tour and Slams AI
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has announced a massive 31-date solo trek across Europe and the UK for 2027. Dubbed the PsychoGod tour, the run will feature a mix of headline shows and festival appearances, showcasing new material alongside deep cuts and fan favorites spanning his solo career.
The tour kicks off on June 14 in Belfast and wraps up on December 10 in Paris. Swedish progressive metal outfit Evergrey will support Dickinson on the November and December leg.
A Defense of Real Musicianship
Announcing the dates, Dickinson delivered a sharp critique of artificial intelligence in music, emphasizing the human element of his touring lineup.
“What we do is real and that’s so important right now,” Dickinson said in a press release. “A real drummer, a real bass player, real guitarists, real keyboards – AI can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play. This band? They can really play!”
Dickinson’s live band features guitarists Chris DeClercq and Philip Näslund, bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, keyboardist Mistheria, and drummer Dave Moreno.
New Music on the Horizon
The upcoming tour follows a busy period in the studio recording the follow-up to Dickinson’s 2024 solo release, The Mandrake Project. Recorded live in the studio in early 2026 at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles, the singer promised the upcoming record is “heavy as s—.”
Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 30.
