Paul Weller Announces Massive 31-Track Live Album From 2026 Summer Tour

Paul Weller has unveiled details of a new live album titled In The Shadow Of The Sun, Paul Weller & Band Live & Very Direct. Recorded straight off the soundboard during his memorable summer outdoor run across the UK and Ireland, the massive release features 31 tracks spanning his entire career.

A Career-Spanning Summer Setlist

The upcoming live release captures a busy summer of outdoor performances at notable venues like Exhibition Park in Newcastle, Fairview Park in Dublin, Pier Head in Liverpool, the Piece Hall in Halifax, and the Open Air Theatre in Scarborough. Weller described the recordings as straight from the sound board, calling them “all real, all true, more power, more love.” He added that he hopes the release “gives justice to the experience that we and the audience felt on these tour dates.”

The extensive tracklist touches on his solo material, classic cuts from The Jam and The Style Council, and even a cover of Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Move On Up’.

Release Details and Upcoming Shows

In The Shadow Of The Sun, Paul Weller & Band Live & Very Direct is set for a digital release on October 2nd, 2026, with physical formats and further information to be confirmed at a later date. Beyond the live release, Weller is scheduled to perform in December at a special tribute concert for broadcaster Bob Harris at the Royal Albert Hall alongside Robert Plant and Roger Daltrey.
