The Allman Betts Band Reveal Spring 2024 Tour Dates
The Allman Betts Band is set to embark on their Spring 2024 tour, marking their first U.S. tour since 2021. The journey commences on May 16 in Charleston, S.C., where they will grace the stage at Charleston Music Hall, kicking off a 21-date tour across 13 states.
Comprising the formidable talents of solo artists Devon Allman and Duane Betts, both acclaimed modern-day guitar heroes, the duo collectively leads The Allman Betts Band. This supergroup is characterized by sharp songwriting, fiery fretwork, and a legendary legacy rooted in American roots music.
Drawing inspiration from the classic sounds of their family tree, The Allman Betts Band crafts timeless rock & roll that transcends the boundaries between blues, Americana, and southern soul. With two critically acclaimed studio albums, numerous live performances, and an annual Allman Betts Family Revival, the band has firmly established its own musical legacy and brotherhood.
Although this marks The Allman Betts Band’s initial U.S. tour since 2021, the two artists did embark on a joint journey last year as part of the 2023 Allman Betts Family Revival. This 16-date tour featured not only Devon Allman and Duane Betts but also included Anders Osborne, Luther and Cody Dickinson from North Mississippi Allstars, along with special guests in specific cities.

About The Allman Betts Band:
Childhood acquaintances since 1989, Devon Allman and Duane Betts, sons of Allman Brothers Band co-founders Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, solidified their familial bond during the group’s 20th-anniversary tour. The connection forged at a young age blossomed into a lifelong family tie, despite living in different cities.
In late 2017, the duo found themselves onstage at the Fillmore in San Francisco, marking the birth of not only The Allman Betts Family Revival tradition but also the formation of The Allman Betts Band. Inspired by their fathers’ musical legacy, the chemistry between Devon and Duane proved to be the catalyst for this musical endeavor.
Throughout 2018, their musical chemistry deepened as they performed over 100 shows worldwide. The culmination of this collaboration resulted in their debut album, “Down to the River,” recorded live at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios. Released in 2019, the album topped the iTunes Rock Chart and secured a spot in the Top 10 on various Billboard charts.
Building a dedicated fanbase rapidly, The Allman Betts Band addressed a musical need for enthusiasts of classic bands like The Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, and the Rolling Stones. In support of the album, the band embarked on a world tour in March 2019, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band’s first jam session in Jacksonville, Florida.
The summer of 2023 marked The Allman Betts Band’s return to the road, with an expanded lineup including guitarist Johnny Stachela, bassist Justin Corgan, keyboardist John Ginty, percussionist/saxophonist David Gomez, and drummers John Lum and Alex Orbison.
While keeping the tradition alive, The Allman Betts Band is dedicated to creating new music for today. The band’s blend of bluesy Americana with teeth, soulful rock & roll, and their prowess as top-tier songwriters and guitarists solidify their unique sound. Proudly living in the present, The Allman Betts Band carries on the musical torch passed down by their fathers while creating a new soundtrack for the American South, transcending genre boundaries along the way. They are The Allman Betts Band, ready to rock and roll into a new chapter.
