Radiohead Announce 2027 Australia & Japan Tour Dates

Following mysterious postcards spotted in Australia and Japan, Radiohead have officially announced a 21-date tour heading to both countries in the summer of 2027. The run follows the band’s fall 2025 European tour, which marked their first live shows since 2018.

Just like their recent European dates, the upcoming Australia and Japan run utilizes a mini-residency format featuring consecutive nights at a select few arenas. The band last performed in Australia in 2012 and last headlined Japan in October 2008 during the In Rainbows tour, alongside a 2016 appearance at the Summer Sonic Festival.

The 2027 Tour Schedule and Residing Format

The 21-date trek kicks off on May 3 at the RAC Arena in Perth for a four-night residency. From there, the band moves on to Melbourne and Sydney before heading to Japan in June.

Guitarist Ed O’Brien previously outlined the band’s new finite approach to touring in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier in the year, stating that they intended to tackle a different continent each year with a strict cap of 20 shows. O’Brien later offered a slight clarification to the Los Angeles Times in July, advising fans to take the exact number with a pinch of salt while maintaining that they likely would not exceed 20 shows annually.

Ticket Registration Details

Tickets for the tour will be available exclusively through the band’s official website.

Fans in Australia can register their details starting September 7 at 3 p.m. AEST / 5 p.m. AWST through September 10 at 3 p.m. AEST / 5 p.m. AWST. Registered fans will be notified on September 11 if they received an unlock code, ahead of the general sale commencing on September 15 at 7 a.m. local time.

Japanese fans have a separate window, able to register from September 7 at 4 p.m. local time until September 27 at 23:59 local time. Successful applicants will receive notifications on October 3 with accompanying payment instructions.
