Foo Fighters Kick Off Jimmy Kimmel Live! Residency With New Songs and Dave Grohl Q&A
Foo Fighters launched a weeklong residency as musical guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, opening the Monday night episode with a performance of “Window,” a single from their 2026 album Your Favorite Toy.
Performances and Dave Grohl Q&A
Alongside the performance, Dave Grohl sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. The discussion touched on how the band “stole” late drummer Taylor Hawkins from Alanis Morissette during the late ’90s.
The residency continued Tuesday night as the band performed “This Is a Call,” a live staple dating back to Grohl’s 1995 self-titled Foo Fighters debut. On Wednesday, the group returned to their latest material to tackle the title track of Your Favorite Toy.
Current Tour and Lineup
The band’s current lineup features Grohl alongside guitarists Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear, bassist Nate Mendel, percussionist and keyboardist Rami Jaffee, and new drummer Ilan Rubin. The group is presently on global tour dates following several stadium shows, with additional performances scheduled through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.
