John Mayer 2027 Las Vegas Sphere Residency Dates & Details

John Mayer is heading to the Sphere in Las Vegas in April 2027 for a headlining residency. The Live Nation-sponsored run will feature three distinct sets exploring his career across acoustic guitar, piano, and electric performances.

Three Distinct Sets and the Return of the John Mayer Trio

The April 2027 residency will include solo acoustic and piano performances, full band arrangements, and a reunion of the John Mayer Trio. Bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan will join Mayer onstage for the Trio set, marking their first live performances together since 2023.

While this marks Mayer’s first solo headlining run at the high-tech venue, he is already familiar with the space after performing two residencies there with Dead and Company in 2024 and 2025.

Residency Dates and Ticketing Details

The Las Vegas residency kicks off on April 8, with additional shows scheduled throughout the month. Tickets start at $129.

A pre-sale begins October 7 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, with registration available on Mayer’s website. General ticket sales open on October 9 at the same times.

Charitable Initiatives

In line with Mayer’s ongoing philanthropic work, a portion of the proceeds from the residency will support charitable causes. Tickets for each show will be auctioned through charityauctionstoday.com, with 100% of auction proceeds benefiting the Heart and Armor Foundation, a veterans’ health organization founded by Mayer in 2012. Additionally, $1 from every ticket sold will go to his Back To You Fund, which supports at-risk youth and homeless programs.
