Metallica Team With Red Cross for Las Vegas Blood Drive

Metallica are bringing their live presence to a charitable cause in Las Vegas, teaming up with the American Red Cross for a special blood drive dubbed the Metallica X Red Cross #BleedingMe blood drive. The initiative coincides with the group’s residency at the Sphere.

Between Sept. 28 and March 19, fans can give blood at a Metallica-themed pop-up donation center located at Fashion Show Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip, situated at 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. S in Las Vegas, Nev. 89109.

Donors will receive a limited-edition T-shirt designed by Squindo while supplies last, alongside refreshments available at the Delta Backstage Lounge. Participants will also be entered for a chance to win Lars Ulrich’s Tama drum kit.

Beyond the donation space, the pop-up functions as an immersive experience replicating a concert backstage area. Fans can even sit at a replica drum kit mirroring the setup Ulrich uses onstage.

How to Donate and Enter the Contest

Appointments can be scheduled through the special website set up for the Metallica X Red Cross blood drive. Fans can also register and review terms for the Lars Ulrich drum kit contest there.

Alternatively, donations can be scheduled by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by downloading the Blood Donor App.

The donation center operates Monday through Friday from Noon to 6 PM through mid-November. Hours for the remainder of the run are scheduled to be announced at a later date.
