Noel Gallagher Drops New Hint About Possible 2027 Oasis Tour
Noel Gallagher has kept fans guessing about the band’s future, offering a fresh hint that Oasis could hit the road for a summer tour in 2027. The musician addressed the ongoing rumors during an appearance on talkSPORT’s Drive, where host Andy Goldstein directly questioned him about whether more live dates are in the works following their massive 2025 reunion run.
At first, Gallagher brushed off the possibility with a joke about his brother and bandmate. “It’s Liam, isn’t it? He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore,” he said. When Goldstein noted that Liam had recently left social media, Noel responded, “Well, then there must be something happening.”
Noel Gallagher Hints at Summer Plans
Poking further at the speculation, Gallagher pointed out the open calendar for the following year. “Well, let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
While Oasis has not officially confirmed a new return to the stage, the comments arrive amid a wave of industry reports and rumors. Promoters SJM Concerts were recently granted a license to stage shows at Knebworth, where Oasis famously played to 250,000 people across two nights in 1996. Additional reports have claimed the band could announce a new tour featuring a 12-night residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
The Upcoming Documentary Release

While fans await official word on future tour dates, the band’s 2025 reunion run is being captured on film. The upcoming documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger is set to screen in theaters, including IMAX, starting in September. Created by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the feature promises a backstage pass and unprecedented access, including sit-downs with both Gallagher brothers.
“The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation,” Knight said in a statement.
