Scorpions Postpone Entire 2026 Tour and Las Vegas Residency
The Scorpions have postponed all of their remaining 2026 tour dates, including a planned three-show run in Mexico and an eight-show Las Vegas residency, due to unforeseen circumstances. All affected dates have been rescheduled for 2027.
Rescheduled Dates and Promoter Announcements
Ocesa, the promoter for the Mexico shows, broke the news, while Live Nation Las Vegas confirmed the rescheduling of the residency.
The band was originally scheduled to perform in Mexico between September 7 and September 13 before heading to Las Vegas for an eight-show residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino starting September 17.
Live Nation shared a statement from the band: “Scorpions regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, their upcoming September shows in Las Vegas will need to be postponed. The band is extremely disappointed but looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in September 2027.”
The band has also promised to announce a number of European dates for 2027 as part of their ongoing “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions” tour.
Recent Live Schedule Disruptions
This postponement follows a series of recent scheduling disruptions for the group.
Earlier this year in April, the Scorpions cancelled a planned four-show tour of India due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting members of the band.
Prior to that, last year saw cancellations of 60th-anniversary concerts in South America due to vocalist Klaus Meine suffering a respiratory infection, as well as postponements during a previous Las Vegas residency after drummer Mikkey Dee required time to recover from a sepsis diagnosis.
Despite the hurdles, Meine expressed optimism about the band’s future on the road earlier this year, telling Rolling Stone that the group remains passionate about touring.
“God knows how long we can do this,” Meine said. “We’re getting older every year, but when we see the fans in front of the stage, we get so much energy and power back from our fans that we’re still young at heart.”
The revised 2027 schedule features the following dates:

- 08/30: Mexico City, Mexico @ Palacio de los Deportes
- 09/02: Monterrey, Mexico @ Auditorio Banamex
