Rod Stewart Cancels More North American Tour Dates Due to Health Issues
Rod Stewart has called off a second performance on his current North American tour due to ongoing health issues. The latest cancellation hits Cleveland’s Rocket Arena, following an earlier last-minute postponement in Cincinnati.
Stewart was originally scheduled to play at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. Organisers announced that the show was postponed just hours before doors opened due to an unforeseen but minor medical procedure requiring prompt attention. Fans were assured that previously purchased tickets would be honored for a rescheduled date and that the singer was expected to make a quick recovery.
Doctor’s Orders Force Cleveland Cancellation
Following the Cincinnati postponement, Rocket Arena officials confirmed that Stewart’s next scheduled performance in Cleveland had also been axed. Organisers stated that doctors advised Stewart to rest for at least 48 hours following a period of monitoring.
While event venues and promoters have issued updates regarding refunds and rescheduling, Stewart has not yet released a direct personal statement concerning the Cincinnati or Cleveland cancellations.
Recent Health Struggles on the Road

The latest cancellations add to a string of health-related hurdles for Stewart’s touring schedule this year. In May, he called off a run of Las Vegas performances to recover from a sinus infection. A month later, a San Diego show was scrapped after doctors diagnosed him with an acute upper respiratory infection resulting in laryngitis.
Earlier on the tour, fan-shot footage from a show in West Valley City, Utah, showed the singer requiring oxygen on stage. In the footage, he remarked to the audience that he nearly fainted and needed to sit down.
